Join Norris Square Neighborhood Project for a free guided tour of our community gardens as part of Xiente's Festival del Jíbaro!

Explore the history of Norris Square and learn about the Puerto Rican women of Grupo Motivos, the neighbors who helped transform vacant lots into spaces for cultural preservation, education, and community gathering.

Our gardens continue to connect generations through Puerto Rican culture, community stewardship, and hands-on learning.

Two Free Guided Tours

• 2:30 PM — 7 spaces
• 4:30 PM — 8 spaces

Space is limited to 15 participants across both tours. Advance registration is required by Friday, October 23, at noon, or until tickets sell out.

What to Know Before Your Visit

Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled tour. Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring bottled water. Tours take place outdoors, and some pathways may be uneven.

Visitors can also explore augmented-reality installations at Villa Africana Colobó using the free Artivive app.

Xiente's Festival del Jíbaro takes place at Norris Square Park from 1–7 PM. Festival attendance is separate from NSNP garden tour registration.
